Hello all,

Another month has passed. Last month we had 23 posts and eight playing characters. A good number I think.

In the next month we are hoping to finish our current mission “Fighting Gravity” and work towards our second mission, although the actual start of that mission might be in November. That depends on how things go. You can read information about the new mission by clicking on the missions link on the main page.

We've officially lost two players last month, although Jess hadn't signed up for this site. Jess and Houssam both are on inactive. Houssam is having to many problems in RL, bad internet being one of them. Because of this I've decided to make some changes on the ship. The star fighter wing is gone (again), as it doesn't really fit on a science vessel. I've also decided to split up Security and Tactical. We are a science vessel, but of the size of a Galaxy-glass, there for it makes sense to split them up.

That does leave us with two (four if you count diplomatic and counseling) almost complete empty departments. If you have a great idea for an NPC in either of those positions, let me know. They are all needed a lot in the upcoming mission.

Wiki: I've written down my idea for the current date on the ship. You can find it by clicking on the date in the navigation bar. I've also updated some sections and pages. The Editing section of the rules page has been altered. There won't be any corrections made in ongoing JPs.

I've also finished all, except one, species pages.

The ship: I've named the biggest shuttles and added them to the specs section of the site. As one runabout was already named U.S.S. Mississippi I used the worlds biggest rivers for the rest of the shuttles.

Finally; last but not least, this months awards. Six awards have been handed out. Congratulations to all recipients. Keep up the good work.

Meritorious Newcomer of the Month Award:
To: Lt. Chiyo Hoshiko
By: Cmdr. Kate Banninga, Lt. Cmdr. John Davidson and Lt. Owen Reeves.
Reason: For writing such an interesting character

Unit Citation:
To: Lt. (j. g.) Miracle Swiftpaws
By: Cmdr. Kate Banninga
Reason: Miracle really helps move the story forward.

Purple Heart:
To: Dr. Farkas Vanth
By: Lt. Cmdr. John Davidson
Reason: Having been wounded during the crash of the U.S.S. Marin, Vanth has had to overcome unique first encounters in joining the crew and communicating through NPCs to describe hir unique situation and biology.

Professional Merit:
To: Ens. Ella Morrow
By: Lt. JG Miracle Swiftpaws
Reason: Descriptive post showing what she is doing at the moment.

Whoopi Goldberg Diversity Ribbon:
To: Dr. Farkas Vanth
By: Cmdr. Kate Banninga
Reason: You have put so much work into your character and that shows. Farkas is a well written character with a good background. Especially since s/he is so different from other humanoid characters.

Good Conduct Medal:
To: Cmdr. Kate Banninga
By: Lt. Eahar R’Soll
Reason: Agnes deserves recognition for all the hard work she put into creating a beautiful website for us. The U.S.S. Endeavour really stands out from a lot of the typical dull Nova skins you see on ships around the fleet. Also, Agnes is always willing to help other people out with websites and has done or helped with websites and skins for at least three other ships.

On the Wiki, which species hasn't been completed?

Runabouts are usually the only small craft named after rivers, shuttles are not usually named rather numbered, but if they are, with exception to the Delta Flyer they're usually named after famous astronomers, or early space missions.
